Disease Day, on 11 April 2023.

Dr. Sharan Srinivasan, Prof. renowned stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgeon, Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain Hospital and PRS Neurosciences & Mechatronics Research Institute Bangalore spoke on: Neurosurgery for Parkinson’s Disease and other movement Disorders. A total 50 people participated in the webinar.

On 17^th May 2023: World Hypertension Day conducted at Gopalpuram on 17.5.2023. Awareness given by Dr. Sathyavathi to all the people regarding Hypertension and correct life style. Theme fir 2023 was enumerated “Measure your Blood Pressure accurately, control it and live longer”. Around 122 people were screened. 4 people were found to be newly detected Hypertensive and were counselled accordingly. Free medicines were distributed.

On 19^th May 2023: IMA ladies wing conducted a camp at Mahalaxmi Old Age home on 19.5.23 in association with FPAB. Attended by Dr Sathyavathi, 

Dr. Priti, Dr. Manju Soneja and Dr. Seethalaxmi. No. of pts treated- 30

Health Awareness talk was given and the senior citizens sang Bhajans.

 On 21^st May 2023: Public Health Guest Lecture (PHGL) was conducted by IMA BB in association with Cardiological Society of India-Bangalore Chapter and Medical Education & Research Trust, Bangalore at the IMA Auditorium, IMA House Bangalore on 21.5.2023 .4.30 pm onwards.
